GENETIC TOXICOLOGY

It represents those from (1) Tubangui's (1947) summary of parasitic worms reported in the Philippines from 1866 to 1946 partly written before the destruction of the Bureau of Science Library in February, 1945 as a result of World War II; (2) the senior author's personal library maintained in cumulative files since 1948; and (3) different libraries of individual scientists and institutions involved in parasitological research.    
THE MAKAPUNO MUTANT COCONUT (1998)

A monograph, which attempts to consolidate all information and research, results in "makapuno" (almost full) tree. A coconut contains little or no water, but is nearly full of a white viscous, translucent jelly, which is used in preparing desserts and in ice cream manufacture. It includes work on floral biology, inheritance, cytology, and propagation by embryo culture, chemical and biochemical analyses, nutritional evaluation, genetics and biochemistry of the makapuno condition especially, the biochemical basis and genetic control of the mutant makapuno endosperm.   P230.00
